Surface Temperature Control for Hazardous Areas
Conventional heating elements often operate at dangerously high surface temperatures. Our furnace adopts a different design approach.
The heating tube surface temperature is strictly controlled below 130℃. This significantly reduces the risk of igniting flammable gases. Cold incoming air, which may reach -35℃, passes through the unit and is heated to an outlet temperature of 35℃ to 65℃. The warm air is then delivered into the shaft and mixes with ambient air, maintaining shaft temperatures consistently above 2℃.
This gradual heating process also prevents sudden thermal shocks that could damage equipment. The Explosion-proof Electric Hot Air Furnace is capable of operating safely in extreme cold conditions without compromising performance.
Performance Features and Industry Credentials
This furnace carries the Ex e I Mb explosion-proof rating, indicating a high level of protection for coal mine applications. Achieving this certification requires rigorous testing that many manufacturers cannot pass.
The thermal efficiency is ≥98%, while the surface temperature remains low. This combination of high efficiency and safe operation extends the service life of the equipment.
The unit operates reliably in environments ranging from -40℃ to +30℃ and supports humidity levels up to 95%. A proprietary insulation design is used to prevent electrical faults, representing one of our key technological advantages.
