Technical Principles of Mine Air Heaters

From a technical perspective, mine air heaters typically employ either electric heating or hot air heating. Electric heating converts electrical energy into heat energy, using heating elements (such as resistance wires) to generate heat. The heated air is then blown into the mine tunnels by a fan, thus raising the air temperature. The advantages of this method are rapid heating, precise temperature control, and the ability to quickly respond to temperature changes within the mine. Hot air heating, on the other hand, uses an external heat source (such as steam or hot water from a boiler) as the heat medium. Heat is transferred to the air through a heat exchanger, and then the air is blown into the mine by a fan. This method is suitable for mines with a stable heat source supply and features high energy efficiency.
