Applications Of Waste Heat Recovery Heat Exchangers

(I) Industrial Sector

In industrial production, a large amount of heat energy is often wasted in the form of waste gas and wastewater. For example, high-temperature waste gas from steel plants, clinker cooling processes in cement plants, and waste heat from chemical reactions all contain considerable heat. Waste heat recovery heat exchangers can recover this waste heat and transfer it to the medium that needs heating, such as preheating raw materials in production processes, heating domestic water, or providing heating for factory buildings.

(II) Energy Industry

In power plants, boiler rooms, and other similar locations, a large amount of heat is released during steam condensation. If this waste heat is not recovered and utilized, it will be lost to the environment. Waste heat recovery heat exchangers can transfer the condensation heat of steam to other media, such as heating circulating water in heating systems, expanding the heating area, increasing the heating capacity of power plants, and making more efficient use of energy.

In some new energy fields, such as solar thermal power plants, after the solar-heated medium completes its power generation task, it still retains a certain amount of heat. Waste heat recovery heat exchangers can collect this heat and use it for other auxiliary production processes or for heating in the surrounding residential areas, further tapping the utilization value of solar energy resources and improving the overall efficiency of the entire energy system.
