Technical Principles and Types of Underground Refrigeration Equipment

May 10, 2026 Leave a message

Underground refrigeration equipment typically employs a compression refrigeration cycle, consisting of four main components: a compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator. The refrigerant circulates within the system, absorbing heat through phase change to achieve cooling. Depending on the application, the equipment can be categorized into localized refrigeration (such as mine localized air conditioners) and centralized refrigeration (such as underground centralized refrigeration stations). Localized refrigeration equipment is small, mobile, and suitable for a single working face; centralized refrigeration, on the other hand, distributes cooling capacity to multiple areas via pipelines, offering higher efficiency but more complex installation.
